We are going to buy a prue bred golden retriever from a breeder as a family pet. we have2 boys one 12 and 8 we wont be breding this dog .what will be the better pet male or female and for what reason we are being told different from everyone . And can you train a dog to go to toilet in the same place ?
I walked her everyday for a hour, but whenever she sees other dogs, big or small, she will loose her manners and start to charge to them and bark like crazy. I tried to say SIT, LEAVE IT, LET’S GO. Nothing worked. Even the other dog and the owner has left she still stands there and looked at their direction. She is pretty strong and sometmes she stands so still that I can’t pull her away….. It is very very embarrising.

i have a golden retriever hes 3 years old and his anme is henry is so good and is the best family dog ever. goldens are often comman to get hip displasisa in most cases this happens in later life, i was just wondering how it could maybe be treated if anybody has any home remedies, or how it could maybe be prevented.
My puppy is 3 moths old and he runs like crazy. I know that young puppies should not run very long, but, keeping him on leash is like torturing him. Every day he plays with his friends for 2 hours. Please help!
my 6 year old Golden started jumping out our kitchen window that is about 8foot high, during a thunderstorm. When we are home he does not do this. Why would he go out into the storm & why did he just start doing this 2 months ago?
